This is a *washi* (Japanese paper) art print featuring Hokusai’s "The Great Wave off Kanagawa" (Wave and Mt. Fuji), created by a long-established Kyoto *washi* company.
It is produced using a hand-dyed silkscreen process, and the texture of the *washi* paper is highly acclaimed.
While it can certainly be displayed as-is, there are many ways to enjoy it—such as placing it under the glass top of a table or having it custom-framed.
